CAB Community Arts Base River Falls, WI 2015 SPRING ARTS GALA

CAB has been a force in River Falls for 20 years. So, mark your calendar for May 2 and let’s celebrate the 2015 Spring Arts GALA!! Regulars at the GALA know it’s where we find excellent music, elegant hors d’oeuvres, friendly, delightful people eager to buy art, raffles of Art Works, dancing and general merriment. The GALA is CAB’s way to showcase local artists—such as you– while raising operating funds. Last year, the 2014 GALA drew record crowds and sold more art than ever before. That means that the artists who chose to receive 60% of the sale price made more money. AND those who donated their works to CAB made greater charitable gifts.

NorthStar Watermedia 2015 National Exhibition Call for Entry

1st Annual NorthStar Watermedia 2015 National Exhibition

To help celebrate NorthStar Watermedia Society’s 40th Anniversary, we will be holding our 1st Annual National NorthStar Watermedia Exhibition in 2015! The committee given the task of pulling this together has been working tirelessly for almost a year to work out all the details that need to be finalized for such a huge event/celebration.

The venue for the event will be Hopkins Center for the Arts in Hopkins, Minnesota, and the judge and juror is Jack Richeson, founder of Jack Richeson & Co., Inc., a world-wide manufacturer, importer, and distributor of quality artists’ materials.

There will be at least $4000 in cash and other prizes awarded for this 1st NorthStar National, so we hope that you will look at the 2015 Prospectus, and enter online at Call For Entry (after April 1, when registration is opened)

Entries accepted: Wednesday, April 1 – Wednesday, July 1

Entry deadline: Wednesday, July 1, midnight

Art Show. Beer Tasting. Fundraiser.

“Posters and Pints was founded in Northeast Minneapolis—a nationally recognized art district, and home to a growing number of craft breweries. Our one-day event offers artists a pop-up gallery, breweries a unique audience, and our partner Art Buddies with a laid-back fundraising environment. We’re seeking designers, illustrators and printmakers who share our passion for art, community and philanthropy. Application: new artist applicants should submit 3 portfolio samples of work, choose your strongest pieces.”
