The grand opening weekend of the new Hastings Arts Center will be:
Friday night, April 10th with doors open at 6:30 pm
Saturday April 11th from 9:00 am-5:00 pm
Sunday April 12th from 12:00pm-5:00pm
Come enjoy a full weekend of live music, class demonstrations, art displays and tours of the newly renovated Hastings Arts Center. Registration for summer sessions will also be available.

FRIDAY, April 10th
6:30 pm: Doors Open 7:00 pm: Banjo and the Bear
8:15 pm: Shotgun Johnson and the Mississippi Seven

SATURDAY, April 11th
(9:00am-5:00pm) Mini Concerts, summer registration, tours throughout the day
9:30 am: Early Childhood Music Sample Class (registration preferred)
10:00 am-12:00 pm: Sample Music Lessons by Blessings Academy teachers
2:00 pm-4:00 pm: Gesture Drawing Demo by Jason Daum and Sample Music Lessons by Blessings Academy of Arts and Music teachers 7:30 pm: Doors will reopen at 7:30 pm for the Hastings High School Vocal Jazz and Jazz Music Ensembles.
Advance tickets available at Hastings High School, or pay at the door.
SUNDAY, April 12th
(12:00 pm-5:00pm)
12:00 pm: Doors Open 1:00 pm: Honors Middle School Orchestra Performance with special guests Terza Tuoni, a Luther College string quartet 1:45 pm: Early Childhood Music Sample Class (registration preferred)
2:30 pm: Mini Concert in atrium
3:30 pm: River Valley Band Community Concert
