“Unmasking HPAAC” Fourth Annual Fundraising Gala

HPAAC’s theme for this year’s fundraising gala (“Unmasking HPAAC”) highlights the renaissance of the emerging arts community in Hastings. Now in its 8th year, HPAAC continues its mission to foster the arts in the community.

At each gala, “Art Heroes,” from both Hastings and Prescott are honored for their untiring efforts in the promotion of arts in their respective communities.  Be watching closely as this year’s honorees will soon be “unmasked.”

The gala’s celebration will feature dinner, music, games, art displays, a live and silent auction, and the opportunity to meet with local artists and purchase their work.

The gala committee is seeking financial sponsors and auction items for the gala.  To donate or for more information, contact Dick Graham at 651-437-8678, Deborah Saunders at 651-285-5424 or email hastingsprescottarts@gmail.com.

Grand Piano NEEDED!

Hastings Arts CenterHastings Arts Center needs a grand piano for the recital hall

Would you, or someone you know, be able to donate a quality grand piano to the new Hastings Arts Center?  We’re looking for a long grand piano (not a baby grand), ideally of high quality, in very good condition.
We will provide a receipt for a tax-deductible donation for the full market value of the piano.  We would also have the piano professionally moved to our recital hall, where it would receive minor repairs, a cover and a humidity regulation system if needed, and regular tunings.  It would be played often by students and professional pianists alike.  In other words, it would be appreciated, well cared for, and loved.

The best part:  We would also have a piano dedication concert in the donor’s honor.  For this once-in-a-lifetime opportunity, the donor (or representative) will work with our Executive Director and staff musicians to create a music program both designed to highlight the piano and tailored to the musical tastes of the donor.  What would be on that program?  It’s up to the donor to decide!
Please contact us if you can help find the instrument that will complete the Hastings Arts Center.
