winter solstice concert

The Hastings Arts Center presents: A Winter Solstice Concert:  “The Three Sopranos”

Celebrate the season at the Hastings Arts Center and welcome the Three Sopranos, Julie Ann Greif, Melyssa Rice and Carolyn Campfield as they share their gifts with you!
Sarah Lockwood will be joining them on Piano and Violin.

Not only will this concert warm your hearts, but with your cash donation for the evening, you’ll help the Hastings Arts Center continue to grow as well – the proceeds from your cash donation will support the purchase of a Grand Piano for the Performance Hall.

Friday, December 18 at 7:30 pm

As we share music during this dark season, we can create the light of peace, remember the joy of children and recall our blessings.

Grand Piano NEEDED!

Hastings Arts CenterHastings Arts Center needs a grand piano for the recital hall

Would you, or someone you know, be able to donate a quality grand piano to the new Hastings Arts Center?  We’re looking for a long grand piano (not a baby grand), ideally of high quality, in very good condition.
We will provide a receipt for a tax-deductible donation for the full market value of the piano.  We would also have the piano professionally moved to our recital hall, where it would receive minor repairs, a cover and a humidity regulation system if needed, and regular tunings.  It would be played often by students and professional pianists alike.  In other words, it would be appreciated, well cared for, and loved.

The best part:  We would also have a piano dedication concert in the donor’s honor.  For this once-in-a-lifetime opportunity, the donor (or representative) will work with our Executive Director and staff musicians to create a music program both designed to highlight the piano and tailored to the musical tastes of the donor.  What would be on that program?  It’s up to the donor to decide!
Please contact us if you can help find the instrument that will complete the Hastings Arts Center.
