Art Demo Tuesdays – Calligraphy

Stop by the Hastings Library and enjoy demonstrations of various art techniques by local artists.

“Calligraphy” will be the subject of the demo on Tuesday, January 17 from 4 to 6 p.m.

Edible Book Festival – Save the Date!

Edible Book FestivalEnter your own creation or come to enjoy a display of books made out of food and vote for your favorites.

The Pleasant Hill Library in Hastings, MN will be hosting an Edible Book Festival on Sunday, April 3, 2016 2-4 pm.

The “book” entries will need to be made mostly out of food, but it won’t have to be 100% edible.  The entries will not be eaten. “The prizes will be ribbons and bragging rights.”
