“The Remember Project” in Hastings and Prescott

“In The Garden” actors Andrew Wheeler and Michael Venske perform a scene as brothers Peter and Jamie Monsetin, disagreeing over a course of action for their father, Arthur.

Allina Health, The Lutheran Home Campus and The Onion Grille in partnership with The St. Croix Valley Foundation will launch The Remember Project in Hastings and Prescott this fall.

The Remember Project is a pilot program intended to stimulate a community conversation around dementia and the most well-known form of memory loss, Alzheimer’s disease. The project takes a unique approach to building awareness, sharing information, and inviting authentic community conversations. Read More

Hastings and Prescott will host three special performance events – each starting with a different short play performed by a professional, traveling cast. Audience members will watch the play and participate in a facilitated conversation.

The performances are free of charge and the schedule is included below:

Play 1: Steering into the Skid. Tuesday, October 27, 2015 at Prescott City Hall

Play 2: Riding the Waves. Tuesday, November 3, 2015 at The Onion Grille

Play 3: In the Garden. Thursday, November 5, 2015 at The Onion Grille

The Hastings plays will be performed in the Sibley Room, at the Onion Grille. There will be a special pre-order lunch served that day:

1. Chicken Salad- $12.99      2. Bacon Cheeseburger- $11.99      3. Turkey Club- $10.99
