Author J Ryan Stradal in Hastings

Join award-winning author J Ryan Stradal in his hometown of Hastings at The Bierstube. He is returning to the area with the paperback version of his best-selling book Kitchens of the Great Midwest.

Sanctuaries – Churches, Homes & Gardens 2016 Tour

Save the Date: July 9 10 a.m. – 5 p.m.

This fundraiser is for the benefit of scholarships for youth who are interested in any of the art forms. The tour focuses on the theme of Mid-Century Modernism & Modernism. Tour 1 mid-century church, 3 modern homes (all at least 50 years old) and 5 amazing gardens. Some sites will host workshops (POLLINATOR GARDENING, FLOWER ARRANGING, FUN WITH HERBS) and the tour includes other examples of modernism to admire curbside.

Advance tickets at $20 are available until July 8 online and at the following locations: Hastings YMCA, BreakAway Arts in Hastings, MN and the Orange Dragon Art Gallery (ODG) in Prescott, WI.
