Greetings from HPAAC President Kathy O’Keefe!

gala logoApril 23 was our big day to get together with all of you to celebrate the arts!

Sadly, it did not happen this year. Since our fundraising gala was postponed, the board has been working hard to determine a date that works best for all our partners, auctioneer, venue, and food provider. We are also looking at possible safe alternatives to the “in-person” gala.

We are impacted by the coronavirus in several ways. We rely on our Gala to provide the funding we need to provide scholarships for individuals accessing art lessons and to provide financial support to other organizations that bring in art opportunities for our community. We will need to be diligent in our commitments until such time that we can replenish our own funds. We are able to use this time to work on looking at our internal processes as we find ourselves in a wonderful period of growth.

We will be in touch and look forward to connecting with you soon and sharing our love of the arts.
