2016 Garden Tour Information
Promoting architecture, design and gardening as art forms!
Hastings Prescott Area Arts Council and Friends of LeDuc of Historic Hastings are pleased to announce their upcoming event, “Sanctuaries – Churches, Homes, & Gardens” on July 9, 10 a.m.- 5 p.m.
This fundraiser is for the benefit of scholarships for youth who are interested in any of the art forms. It is the philosophy of the steering committee for this event to promote architecture, designs & gardening as art forms.
Tour 1 mid-century church, 3 modern homes (all at least 50 years old) and 5 amazing gardens. Some sites will host workshops (POLLINATOR GARDENING, FLOWER ARRANGING, FUN WITH HERBS) and the tour includes other examples of modernism to admire curbside.
This tour focuses on the theme of Mid-Century Modernism & Modernism. There are exciting surprises in store for the tour guests.
Advance tickets at $20 will be available from May 25 to July 8 at the following places of business: Hastings YMCA, BreakAway Arts in Hastings, MN and the Orange Dragon Art Gallery (ODG) in Prescott, WI. On the day of the tour, tickets will only be available at BreakAway Arts and ODG for $25. Guests will receive a map of locations for each of the stops and may choose their own route.

In an effort to raise awareness for this tour and fundraiser, we are inviting people to post and share photographs of sanctuaries, gardens, or flowers. Participants will have a chance to win a set of two pillows kindly donated by MyPillow.®
Share photos using hashtag #GardenPillowContest on Instagram or post directly on the Sanctuaries: Homes, Churches and Gardens page.
A winner will be randomly chosen from posts tagged #GardenPillowContest from May 25 to July 9, 2016.
You may also win a second set of MyPillow® pillows by buying a ticket for the July 9th Sanctuaries Tour. All ticket holders will be entered into a drawing as well.
