Civil War Weekend: 1866 – Homecoming!

Don’t miss this weekend’s fun and educational event!

LeDuc Historic Estate will commemorate the Homecoming of the Troops and the 150th Anniversary of the LeDuc House.

“Features include encampments of Union and Confederate soldiers, speakers, demonstrations, music and especial 1866 period tours of the LeDucs’ Home.”

On this Saturday and Sunday, Civil War reenactors will roam the property as soldiers, civilians, fine ladies and servants. There will be speakers and musicians both morning and afternoon, as well as many and varied demonstrations throughout the site.

“As our focus this year is 1866, we will be hosting a Grand Army of the Republic exhibit in addition to Professor Longley’s Cabinet of Curiosities and a one-room Schoolroom for the children to explore.”

Short tours of the house are included in the cost of the event.

Cost of the event: $7-9.
