“Meet at the Butterfly Art Bench in Freedom Park, spread out your blanket, choose a book to read together, explore the park’s playground and trails, and pick out free books to bring home!”
The goal of “Books and Benches” is to promote reading and encourage families to spend time enjoying unique community art projects and exploring the amazing places in the St. Croix River Valley.
This “Books and Benches” program is a partnership between Somerset Elementary Family Book Drive, The Phipps Center for the Arts, the Art Bench Trail, the Prescott Public Library and the Great River Road Visitor and Learning Center at Freedom Park.
Fridays, July 15 & July 22 from 10-11 a.m.
